Fabric sourcing/store

Factory sources fabrics from well reputed fabric suppliers locally and internationally according to required specifications. Testa International always emphasize to use top quality raw material to achieve best quality appeal. Fabric are sourced and stored in fabric store in racks. Fabric inspection is done prior to issue fabric to cutting department.

Cutting

Based on style requirement, cutting of garment component are done two ways such as fixed cutting and block cutting. Fixed cutting – In case excess fabric at seam lines does not required for following processes such as printing and embroidery fixed cutting is done. Block cutting is done for Printing, Embroidery and Digital Printing (Sublimation) process for some designs. In some cases, block cutting is required for few component and rest components are cut fixed shape in same lays. All components are numbered with sticker or marker and stored. Numbering is done to ensure that garment components are attached from same layer and size. Cutting auditing is done for cut components as well as bundles.

Sublimation Digital Printing

So how does sublimation work? Well, sublimation printing uses heat to essentially bring ink and fabric together as one. First, a design is printed onto special paper. The inks that are used turn into gas when brought under heat, then combine with the fabric and permanently print onto the fabric. The effects are permanent and less prone to fading, as the ink is embedded in the fabric or substrate rather than simply laying on top like a normal print. The process is almost like a tattoo, but instead of for your skin, it’s for your chosen product. The heat opens up the pores of the fabric, then with the applied pressure the ink cools and returns to a solid form. The result is a permanent, full colour image that won’t crack, peel or wash away from the substrate. The process allows the ink to go from a solid to a gas without turning to liquid, a bit like dry ice. The conversion is initiated by heat and controlled by pressure. This quick and effective digital print method is growing in popularity for smaller batch orders and those designs that rely on the details. Sublimation printing is also known as ‘all over printing’ as it allows you to choose a design that can literally go from seam to seam.

Printing/Embroidery

Cut panels are sent for printing and embroidery. Based on product design different panels of same garment may be required to process through different process at the same time. In case, one or two components are sent for these processes other components are kept in layers in racks with proper layer tag. Paper transfer printing, most of the orders required a brand logo. Instead of screen printing factory prefers transfer printing method for logo printing and this transfer printing is done in the line. Printed and embroidery panels are checked for print and embroidery quality and stored for sorting based on sequence number of each layer. Re-cutting is done for block panels after printing or embroidery process to shape components. Re-cutting is done in single panel or couple of panels.

Stitching

Stitching is the process whereby fabric is fashioned into a finished product by means of different sewing techniques. The stitching stage holds extreme significance to ensure that the product takes its shape according to requirements. In itself a highly specialized field, stitching requires care and precision. Testa International equipped with the necessary high-speed precision stitching machines. Our speciality machines include but are not limited to coverstitch, single needle, double needle, bar tack, buttonhole, safety stitch and more. The trained workforce moulds the fabrics into different sizes and shapes for varying requirements across diverse markets.

Table Inspection Or End Of Line Inspection

A QC inspector checks sewing quality at all workstations. Random QC ensures that each operators produce quality garment. At the end of sewing operations one check point is kept to check stitched garments prior to moving next process. 100% garments are checked in accordance with measurement chart, design and fit at this check point. Checker trims loose/uncut threads found in garments.

Steam Press

Most of the orders do not required washing process and thread cutting, checked garments are directly moved to pressing table. Garments pressed using steam iron. It is the process of application of heat, pressure and moisture to shape or crease garments or garment components into the geometric forms proposed by the designer. The pressing process influences the final garment appearance and hence the garment appeal. Finishing and pressing machines contour the semi finished garment panels as well as finished garments by bringing down the fibers in the fabric to an elastic state and then deforming and setting them.

Packing & Finished Products

Pressed garments are folded with tissue paper and tagged with customer instructed tags which may include hang tag, price tag and special care instruction tag. Tagged garments are packed into poly bags. Tagged and individually packed garments are sorted size and color wise.
